To Lori's family, How shocked and saddened to find while looking up an old friend to see that she has passed. I don't know what happened but my heart goes out to Tim and the children. I met Lori doing the governor's internship in Tallahassee. I was able to see her get married at West Point and visit her while she was in Germany. I briefly caught up with her while I lived in Hoffman Estates for a short time.Perhaps that was 5 years ago. I was thinking of her today... which brought me to this blog. May God's peace be upon her family.

I knew Lori at West Point. She was my friend. I was devastated when I found out she had died. I lost my stepson earlier this year and know I will never be the same again. A death of a young person in a family is the hardest thing. My thoughts go out to her husband and children.
