Happy 50th Birthday from Mom and Dad Good

Dear Lori:
It is Mar 01, 2010 and another birthday. Oh how we miss you!
Aaron and Kathryn were with our whole family in Orlando on their winter break. They are in high school and so intelligent (and sooo tall). Aaron is a senior this next school year. Kathryn will be a sophomore. Both are very athletic! You would be so proud of them!!!

The family gathering included GG and Poompa, Linda and Bill: Elise and Christian (her husband): Lynora and Sam and Sebastian, (an A student), and 3 year old Hunter who captured our hearts. What a beautiful little boy! Leroy and Patsy came from Texas. Mom rented a 6 bedroom vacation home as a headquarters for the occasion. We all went to the Villages and had lunch with Bob.

Newman is still on the job protecting us. He is now 8 years old.

With all our love,
Mom and Dad Good

I think of Lori frequently, especially as her birthday approaches. Here are my thoughts of my dear friend:

Lori Is Still With Me

Lori Is still with me...
when I see a child in need and I do something to help,
when I feel passionately about a film, or a book, or a place I love,
when I believe someone's story should be told and I find a way to tell it,
when I breathe in the beauty of the natural world,
when I laugh with abandon,
Lori is still with me.

My love to Tim, Aaron, Kathryn and all of Lori's family. I miss her a lot.
